La Paz
The cable cars, the altitude headaches, and a city built on a slope so steep the map barely makes sense until you've walked it. I didn't plan to spend as long here as I did, but La Paz has a way of rearranging your plans without you quite noticing.
It's chaotic in a way that took some getting used to, and then became the thing I missed most about it once I'd moved on — the noise, the markets, the sense that everything was happening at once.
